Oridian Construction Services: Quality Management

Oridian takes a leadership role in promoting high quality in several ways.

Construction Inspection - We have a staff of experienced and certified inspectors for every kind of construction project.
Quality Control Program Management- Often as a subconsultant to general contractors, we prepare and administer the entire quality control program for major projects. This service fulfills the requirements of the specifications on many federal projects. It is also of great value to private developers and other Owners when combined with Project Management responsibilities.
Constructibility Analysis - Utilizing our knowledge and experience of construction methods, equipment, and costs, we evaluate design plans and other contract documents for clarity, consistency, and ease of use in the field. This service often includes value engineering and independent cost estimating.

Oridian's construction inspectors are all seasoned, experienced people. Most are certified through NICET or other recognized training and testing programs. We have qualified personnel for specialty inspections, including structural, welding, electrical and other types as needed.

Oridian assists contractors by developing and executing QC programs tailored to the requirements of the project specifications. Our services often include:

	Writing a project specific quality control plan
	Providing and/or coordinating materials testing services
	General inspection of the work in progress
	Close coordination with contractor personnel
	Negotiation as-needed with owner/engineer regarding quality and acceptance of the work

Oridian does construction cost estimating the way contractors do it: we calculate quantities of work, build theoretical crews of workers and equipment, determine production rates, and contact suppliers and specialty contractors for informal quotes. The result is an estimate that reflects current market conditions and a logical approach to how the work will be done.
